Draft. The legal entity behind this service is being finalised, so this document is published for review and has not been through legal approval.
This notice explains what Sermon Short Reels collects when your church uses Sermon Short Reels, why it is held and how long it is kept. It is a draft written by the product team and has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
What we collect
Account details. The name and email address of each person in your church account, the church name, and optionally the website, country, size range and timezone you give during setup.
Recordings you submit. The link or file for each sermon, plus everything the pipeline derives from it: the transcript with word timings, the audio signals, the selected moments and the finished reels.
Billing details. Paddle processes payments as merchant of record. We receive the subscription status, the plan and the invoice history. We never see or store your card number.
Operational logs. Request logs, job events and error reports, used to run the service and diagnose failures.
How we use it
To transcribe, cut, caption and store your reels; to show you progress and the result; to email you when a sermon is ready or a job has failed; to answer your support messages; to enforce the sermon allowance on your plan; and to keep the service working.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your sermons, transcripts or reels as marketing material unless you give written permission naming the church and the scope.
Processors we use
Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Paddle (payments), and the transcription and language model providers used inside the pipeline. YouTube is used only where you connect a channel or submit a link.
How long we keep it
Source video and the extracted audio are deleted about seven days after processing. Transcripts, selected moments and finished reels are kept while the account is open. Deleting your church removes its sermons, transcripts and reels. Billing records are retained for as long as tax law requires.
Your choices
You can export your church data or delete the church from settings. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it, by writing to support@sermonshortreels.com. Where the law gives you a right to complain to a regulator, using this service does not remove it.
Children
The service is sold to churches and is not intended for children.
